4th Grade Science This Year At A Glance

Throughout the year we will be doing multiple projects and exploring a vast array of topics. Your child will be graded based on homework, study guides, class projects, science labs, quizzes, tests, and their interactive notebooks. Your child will have plenty of notice on due dates and exam dates as well as provided a rubric for projects and lab reports. We will be covering Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science during this school year. We are using the HSP Pennsylvania Science book by Harcourt School Publishers for grade 4 as well as other resources. Your child was given an agenda at the beginning of the year and is given the first 5-7 minutes of class each day to add any assignments, testing information, or project updates daily.
