Welcome to Carmichaels Area Elementary Center. I am honored to be part of your child’s educational journey and to work with an experienced, motivated, and dedicated group of educators. We are committed to providing learning opportunities for all students in a welcoming and nurturing environment. Our classroom experiences provide children with the foundations needed to develop intellectually and socially. In addition to core subjects, we provide students opportunities to explore community resources, careers, arts, and music, to name a few. We are proud to collaborate with parents and community agencies in providing opportunities for children outside of the classroom and school day. A child’s social and emotional wellness is central to successful learning and development. We are committed to developing self-awareness and critical communication skills in all students so they can collaborate with others, self-advocate and recognize their role in society. Our staff’s innovative teaching techniques provide students hands-on learning, opportunities to communicate with their same-age peers elsewhere in the world, and most importantly, the chance to have fun while learning. We say “once a Mike, always a Mike.” We are proud that a child's journey starts at Carmichaels Area Elementary and excited to see where the journey takes them as they navigate through their formative years and beyond.
