Miss Ashley Kapp » Welcome!

Welcome!

Hi and welcome all! My name is Ashley Kapp and I am a Kindergarten teacher here at Carmichaels Elementary Center. I love getting to know my students and their families, and I would love for you to have the opportunity to get to know me as well. So keep reading to find out more!

The 2019-2020 school year is my first year as a full time teacher, however I have been a substitute within the district for over two years. I am a 2012 Carmichaels Area graduate and I graduated from Waynesburg University in the April of 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education PreK-4. In the Summer of 2019 I finished graduate school and graduated with a Master's Degree in Special Education PreK-8 from California University. I plan to continue my education so that I may always provide my students with the best education.

Teaching is my dream career and my passion, but I have other hobbies that I also enjoy in my free time. I enjoy hiking and kayaking. I also enjoy cooking for my loved ones, and reading historical fiction books. Shopping is one of my favorite things to do and I absolutely love cows and Elvis Presley.

As a teacher, I believe that it is my job to guide students on their continuous journey to seek and gain knowledge by providing all students with a positively reinforced and student-based learning environment. My goal is for your child to have an awesome first year that is full of learning and good memories!

Thank you for stopping by my page and getting to know me. I look forward to the relationship that I build with you and your child throughout our time together in Room 116. Feel free to contact me at any time!

Smiles,
Miss Kapp
