The goal of the Carmichaels Area Elementary General Music, Band, and Choral Music program is to provide all students with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of music. Also, it is important for students to understand the relationship music has with other subjects as well as cultivate creativity and appreciation for the arts. With a strong foundation, appreciation, and enjoyment of music, students are encouraged to continue their music education as they proceed onto the Middle and High School and build on what they have learned here.
