Elementary Computer Class provides students with an opportunity to acquire the skills needed to make computers a relevant tool for their learning experiences. Students will receive instruction needed to use various software applications used in today’s society as well as the classroom.

A)   Manipulate age appropriate computer-aided keyboard instruction software to achieve a set words per minute speed. Programs may include: 

➔   Typing.com, Dance Mat Typing, and other internet based websites

Students are permitted to bring in ear buds to use instead of wearing the black headphones. We will store them in Ziploc baggies labeled with their name and can be taken home at the end of the year.
